Are these online body fat percentage calculators accurate? I went on a body fat calculator and it told me to measure my waist and stuff. So I did and It told me I had a % of 20! I find it hard to believe when I am 15, a boy and weigh 148 pounds. Should I trust these calculators, or are they inaccurate? thanks.

What is my body fat percentage? I am a male. My height is 5 feet 10 inches. My weight is 130 pounds. My waist size is 28 inches. My neck size is 14 inches on the lower portion(where the adams apple is), 13 inches on the higher portion. My wrists are 6 inches. I am very active as i am a runner. I have used BMI Calculators but they all seem to have me in a different category. If you could find me a accurate BMI Calculator (more likely have best answer if you calculate on there for me). Next, I was wondering if there was a possible way for me to find my body fat percentage without much work, online preferably. Last, my information. Born June 14, 1996. 4' 11" and 78 Ibs.
Online body fat test? I did these two online body fat tests and i got 2 completely different answers. On the first one, (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/) i got 31.86% which is counted as an obese percentage. The second one, (http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html) says i have 16.2%, which is at the athlete range. They kinda worried me cause ya know, no one ever wants to be obese, and my dad's side of the family has a history of type 2 diabetes, and i don't want diabetes when i grow up. I am currently 5' 0". (i'll probably never get any taller >_<) I weigh somewhere between 105-109 lbs. (i just got back from vegging out on vacation (: ... i was 105.6 before we left ) I'm almost 15 years old. I play softball and like to run, but i haven't been very much for the past 2 months or so since we've been on break. I'm not anorexic or anything but my waist is 31" if that helps. Percent on Scale??? Okay so I just got this new scale and I don’t have the instructions So you tell the scale if you are a child, adult, or athlete Then you say if you are male or female and how tall you are. Anyway, after you stand on it, it shows your weight and percentage At first I thought it showed your body fat percent but mine was really high It was around 30 (I am female and adult) Yet when I looked at online for calculators that calculate your body fat I typed in my weight and waist measurements and got 18%. So now I am confused does anyone know what the percentage on the scale means???
Abs by July? First, some basic info 15, female, 5'9" I weigh 132 lbs, waist measurement of about 28 and a supposed body fat percentage of 16% (According to some online calculators) I've eat very healthy and workout everyday. My goal is to have a flat stomach/abs by July, which would give me a little more than a month. My general question is- is this a realistic goal? Also, Ive read contradicting info everywhere.. some say that 20 minutes of HIIT is ideal for fat burning, some say that prolonged, steady running is better. I'm a runner, so I find 20 minutes of HIIT rather easy. But the books say that by running/doing cardio for more than twenty minutes will just counteract the strength training I do and break down lean muscle mass. Would the muscle still be depleting if I ran for twenty minutes in the morning, and twenty minutes at night, per say? Or would this have the same muscle-eating effect? For my goal- abs- what is a good plan? Some kind of exercise/fitness guideline would be wonderful. Up until now Ive been running anywhere from 30-60 minutes a day, either in intervals or steadily..

According the YMCA formula, I'm obese (funny because I'm also considered severely underweight for my height), and according to the U.S. Navy's formula, I'm an athlete (also far from accurate). Are the online body fat percentage calculators wrong or am I just obese? So, according to about 10 different body fat percentage calculators I have tried, my body fat percentage is 31%,making me very overweight. Bear in mind I'm a girl, 5"6' and weighing in at 110lbs with a 24 inch waist. And the rest of the calculators I've tried have put me at between 13% and 16%. Noticeably, I'm only put at 31% on calculators that ask for wrist and forearm measurements. So either it's a glitch with these particular calculators, me misunderstanding the instructions, or I need to lose 50lbs. six-pack by june? im 15 yr old male and im 180 pounds. im 5'10 my motabolism rate is around 2200 calories to 3000 calories a day. my body fat percentage is around 16%-19% since most online calculators are inaccurate. i do cardio every day (jump-roping mostly since it burns around 700 calories an hour) for 30 minutes and on the weekends i do interval training and jump rope for an hour, then do weight lifting for a good hour. i have alot of muscle mass but my fat is hiding it =(. im on a strict diet now, but im not Crash dieting since its harder in the long run so i consume around 1200-1500 calories a day and burn about 500-600 weekdays and much more on weekends. so what im asking is that is it possible for me to get a six-pack by june?
Losing weight? Ok, I'm 15 about to turn 16 and for my next birthday ((in two and a half months)) I want to lose 10-20 pounds. I am 5' 6.5" and weigh 130. I want to lose weight in my face.? I have a fat looking face but in a BMI calculator I am 21. I am not muscular and am fat(25% on those scales that measure body fat percentage). I am wondering if doing exercise will make my face lose weight. If it can't is surgery the only option? Please I really want to as I have a low self-esteem. I am 15.

BODY fat percentage? out of whack?!? i've tried many online calculators and they always say my body fat % is from 18 - 21 at the most. Is this good or bad? im 20, 5'5 and weigh around 123 pounds plus i really don't feel like its that low, though i do run the back of my legs arent very toned.

BMI Calculator? So I am 23 5'3" and weigh 150... the BMI calculator says I am overweight... The problem here is I am not overweight lol. I have always had a broad curvy frame even as a girl. I currently do yoga M,W,F and run on T,Thr,Sat and do weights on cardio days. I eat a healthy preservative free vegetarian diet and drink plenty of water. When I tell people my weight they are usually surprised and say I look about 130. I know muscle weighs more than fat... So my question is what constitutes the accuracy of a BMI calculator... Perhaps if I didnt have a healthy lifestyle I would be genuinly overweight but I am not... And then... what is the best way for me to figure my body fat percentage? I know that for a 6pack to show, your body has to have low body fat but I'm not sure what this percentage is? Does anyone know so they can give me any tips please :)? How can I lose body fat, without losing weight? I don't think it would be healthy for me to lose additional weight. My BMI is around 19.8, which is on the lower end of normal. Unfortunately, over the last 12 years my breasts strangely shrank an entire cup size, and all my body fat got concentrated in my thighs, and it became uneven, appearing as cellulite. So, even at a low weight, I am concerned that my body fat is too high. Every time I do a body fat calculator, it says my body fat is really borderline. I already run every day of the week, lift weights, and see a nutritionist. You might think, well you're pretty thin, don't worry, but I don't want an unhealthy body fat level. Even someone who appears thin may have a higher body fat percentage than a heavier, or larger-looking person . I'd like to be able to wear a swimsuit, without dimply, jiggly thighs. I am so depressed about it. How can I get rid of all that stubborn fat in my thighs without sinking to some horrible, unattractive anorexic weight?

Decreasing body fat percentage? So I've done a teeny tiny bit of research and think I have come up with a pretty good estimate of my body fat percentage using online calculators. I used 7 different calculators and averaged them all together and have found out that my body fat percentage is around 25.42%. I am an athlete and due to the needs of my sport (jumping, being quick and agile, etc.) I've decided it would be to my benefit to decrease my body fat percentage to about 18.5%. So, I would have to lose approximately 6.92% of my body mass (body fat). This would be around 8lbs. I do not want to lose any lean muscle mass; I am aiming to lose pure body fat. What is the best way to go about this? My schedule is tight, but I do have a gym membership close by... i.e. Sunday-practice (1-3) Monday-school(7-2), work (2:30-7), practice (8-10) Tuesday-school (7-2),off/work (230-7) Wednesday-school (7-2), work (2:30-5), practice (6:30-9:30) Thursday-school (7-2), off/work (2:30-7) Friday-school (7-2), work (2:30-6) *sorry... 6.92% of 143 (my weight): .0692 x 143=9.895... I'm 12 years old, and I went on a body fat calculator website and measured all they asked, and it says: your body fat percentage is estimated to be 14.39 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 25.80 % using the formula developed by the YMCA. Is this healthy? I know I am only 12, but I'm not looking to lose weight. I just want to know if it's okay. Is it? Yes, I know, but it says they are both developed by two different measuring... people? i guess, so I have a feeling the 2nd one measures on a different 'number' basis, so that's healthy according to them. so yeah. i think the 1st is more accurate.

Am I REALLY overweight??? ok so I weigh 133 pounds, I am 5'1, and I have size G boobs. I have a little extra cushioning around my tummy. I go to the gym regularly for at least 1hr if not 2 hours at least 3 days a week. Every online calculator for BMI, Ideal Weight, Body Fat Percentage, etc. tells me that I am overweight!!! My "ideal" weight is between 100-115 pounds!! I really really think that those calculators are crap because I wear size 27 in jeans and size 2 or 4 in skirts!!! If I was 115 pounds like I'm "ideally" supposed to be, I'd be a size 0 if not less!!! Do you agree with me or am I crazy?? Am I really overweight?? are those calculators crap??
