Body fat chart makes no sense for me...?

i went on http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/ and calculated my body fat, but it make sno sense after... i weigh 118Ibs, my waist is 28' , my hips are 38', my wrist is 6 and my foram (im not sure where to mesure that but i guess im 9') so they said i had a Body Fat Percentage of 32.62%. im only 5'6 and im 16 years old. then they tell you to go see what your ideal weight would be and they calculate your wight and your body fata nd tell you how much weight youd have to lsoe to go to your perfect weigh and id have to go to 137Ibs.... are they saying i have too much body fat? i dont understand anything..

  1. Those charts were made by insurance companies in the 1970s for the most part. They are quite unrealistic. Try a BMI calculator (which is still inaccurate if you are an athelete or have a lot of muscle), or, for best results waist-to-hip ratio chart. I am sure you are fine, those charts are whack!
  2. Never trust online body fat calculators and there is definitely something wrong with that one as the number comes out the same whatever numbers you put in lol. So don't even worry about it. Best to get yourself some body fat callipers (accu-measure) and learn to test your body fat that way. It might not be 100% accurate (no method is) but definitely better than any online body fat calculator you will find.
