Whats the best way to lose body fat?

Does eating food with fat content related ? I try to eat a lot of fruit and veggies and i work out 4 times a week doing yoga, lifting weights, and arobic classes. I'm a 32 year old female.

  3. Do cardio and weight lifting... Cut out the sugar, and burn more calories than you take in. Eat 5 - 6 meals a day instead of 1 - 3.
  4. Crunches. running, swimming(if you can), just try to stay very athletic, you wont notice the results right away, but over time you will.
  5. I think eating less calories than you burn is the main way to reduce body fat. Also, drink LOTS of water.

The best way to lose body fat is to do cardiovascular exercise regularly (4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes), control your diet (no excessive fats, sweets, simple carbs), and to consume less calories than you burn in a regular day. <--though that helps more with the losing weight side of things. Try switching from simple carbs to whole wheat products only, drinking only skim milk, and skipping the candy and sugary foods. Also keep in mind that some fruits have a lot of sugars, which can lead to an increase in body fat, as sugars that are not used up turn into lipids. I'm not sure if eating foods with fat can lead to buildup of fat, but cutting down certainly has helped me improve my figure and general tone.
  8. Its pretty simple if you really want it. Drink lots of water, and excercise. Dont eat too many carbs or sugars. Try to cut things out of your diet that are bad, and replace the unhealthy with healthy (ie, sweet potato instead of regular potato or white rice with brown rice). It takes dedication, but anyone can do it!

  12. Dropping weight can be hard... As a serious body builder I have to do it often. And after years of many methods I learned this... High protein and low fat... To lose effectively your going to want to limit fat intake. You will also want to sick to food high in protein... such as fish, skinless lean chicken, tuna ect... Also go with the veggies as you have they are good as well for fiber and other things. Get away from garbage so called low-cal and diet style foods... Its all garbage. Trust me eat good old things like apples, bananas, celery and carrots. Dont fear milk either, as long as its SKIM milk, it helps burn fats and is high in protein and low in fat. and if you want cereal in the morning be careful, try to get Kashi or some thing like it, its high in protein and low in fat. It really isnt all that bad either. Salads are a good way to get that real full feeling and keep fat and cals to a minimum. Just watch the dressing amount and type, they them self's can be more than a regular meal if poured on heavy. Another tip to you is drink a large glass of water before meals, it helps take up space and helps get a full feeling faster. And stay away from sodas, also avoid eating 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. If possible eat 5 small meals evenly spaced out through the day rather than 3 big ones. The five small meals maximizes your metabolism. You will also want a good daily vitamin... no One a Day or TV brand vitamin, they lack in may areas. Go to a GNC and pick up the MegaMan D.V. They are great and are not too expensive at all and will have more than enough of every thing. I dont know how you are working out. But what i will suggest you do if your not already, and that is go cardio. By this I mean do lots of reps with less weight. Extend your work out as long as you can while maintaining a go high heart rate. Take as little time between sets as possible to keep it up.   13. Below are the few Quick Steps Towards A Healthier Diet. 1)Start taking your food with out any oil. Try to use boiled/steamed vegetables, meat, and lot of salad. U can eat fruits too and boiled/steamed chicken or red meat too but no pork. Please note and put it in ur mind that nothing fried or oily. 2)Try to chew ur every food for atleast 20 times. And then swallow it into ur stomach. 3)Potato is strictly forbidden during this diet 4)Don’t eat any type of junk food. 5)Drink at least 3 ltr of water daily. Make ur habit to drink water as much as u can. Rather take a bottle of water with you all the time, when you feel starving, drink it as much as u can. 6)use brown bread 7)use skimmed and low fat milk and yogurt 8)no sugar of any type. 9)First try to avoid any type of soft drink but if u really wants to taste some thing sweet then drink any soft drink (but not cola), but just one glass once in a week. 10)U can eat vegetable soap too as much as u can but no corn flour in it. 11)Just look at your food portion. It is much better to eat several small meals a day (like 5-6 healthy meals a day) than eat either one or two or three huge meal a day. 12)if u feel hungry then divide ur diet into 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate size only) 13)one bowl of oatmeal can be taken as a break fast 14) no hard drink of any type is allowed in this diet. 15)Watch out ur every drink and every single piece of ur food. Stay away from fatty foods, junk foods, synthetic foods, foods with preservatives and too much carbohydrate. Don’t try to take foods that are made of white flour for example white bread, cakes, pasta etc and food contain sugar such as cookies, ice cream, candy etc. 16)Remember after every 15 days you can take once in a while with a little treat any thing u like.
