- You can get weighing scales that measure your body fat percentage, and there is a formula to work out your BMI, google it.
- scales in boots
- If you google both you will find something to tell you how to do it.
- you can find out onliine heres the link you need to know ur height and weight http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/magazine/interactive/bmi/index.aspx
- Here is a free online BMI calculator: http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/magazine/interactive/bmi/index.aspx This is how to work out your body fat percentage: http://www.brianmac.co.uk/fatcent.htm (for which you will need to purchase some calipers, I found some online for £9.99: http://www.healthmonthly.co.uk/products.php?s_tit=1&s_fds=0&search_string=accumeasure&category_id=&gclid=CJimyvK855QCFQ1gQgodpm2IRA) If you want to get rid of stretch marks, try bio oil or cocoa butter, both are good at fading stretch marks over time.
- work out you weight in kgs and divide it by you height (in inches) squared. or you could google it and you'll find loads of BMI tools
- Your BMI is a raw calculation based on age, height and weight. There's tons of those that can be found online but if you want one that's officially attached to a medical facility you can find one at www.barixclinics.com. It's pretty straight forward...you just punch in the numbers, hit calculate and voila! Your body fat percentage is a little more in-depth. Some people SWEAR by the pinch test but I don't think it's very accurate...like...at all...primarily because people are shaped differently and nobody's body distributes fat exactly the same way as anyone else's. So really and truly the BEST way is to have your doctor write a prescription for you to go to your local major university hospital and get dunked. You sit in this big tank of water where they can measure your buoyancy compared to your overall weight. They'll remove your bone and muscle weight and be able to get a spot on computation of your overall body fat. Now that I've mentioned it though...doesn't a pinch test sound much more pleasant? Anyway, those are your options...one way or the other you're going to have to come up offa that shirt, pal. Sorry. Good luck, though!
- get a wii fit that does it i did mine yesterday on mine and i'm keeping fit using it just had a baby so need tone belly up don't worry about stretchmarks nearly all women have them be proud of your body my friends as twins of 17 and they have them and they don't even have kids or over weight i have a few on top of my legs don't care what people think of them even men have them who cares
- Body fat scales are notoriously wrong. The buoyancy thing is a good way. Callipers are the normal way.
