workout help body fat not going down?

i have been training pretty hard the last couple of weeks and i have managed to lose 12 pounds but my body fat has only droped 3 percent what am i doing wrong ps i am using one of those bathroom scales with the built in body fat calculator i have been working out for 5 weeks my diet has been healthy what im asking is if im not losing fat then what am i losing b/c by losing 12 lbs i should have lost 6 % bf at least not 3 what am i losing it cant be water bc i am drinking plenty am i losing muscle that fast

  1. what you expect to drop to 10% body fat in a month? no, it takes time to get in shape. keep on working
  2. First off if your not eating healthy then your body fat will not go down. But if you are then it's probably because it takes a lot for body fat to drop in the first place. Another reason could be that your body is getting use to the exercises your doing, try changing it up so your continuously working your muscles out.
  3. You've only been working out for two weeks. Give it a few months... 12 lbs in 2 weeks is quite good. Stick with it.
