Is walking/speed walking an effective way to lose body fat?

I'm 6'2, 175lbs and about 22% fat and I'm hoping to drop that to about 10-15%. I have lost a lot of weight up until this point, and I want an exercise that I can do do lose some of the body fat. I've heard speed walking is good for that. Is that a good way of losing the fat?
