Protein, muscle, and body fat percentage?

I am working out four days a week, arms Monday legs Tuesday off Wednesday arms Thursday, legs Friday. I plan on taking protein supplements. With theseproteinn supplements, will this increase body fat percentage? I know to bulk up 2500+ calories is ideal, but I do not want the fat. I want to increase muscle, lower body fat. Will protein supplements help?

  1. Protein could help, but there is no guarantee. Your genetics will play a large roll in how you develop. Give it a shot though, it shouldn't hurt.
