What is the ideal weight for a 20 year old male?
I am 5'11 and weigh 198 pounds body fat percentage is 20 percent i am trying to get down to 180 or 170 but i have no idea what is the ideal or fit weight for a man my age and height

- i dont know about weight but i do know that a good body fat percentage for a guy is like 14% or roundabouts so just work toward that and you can figure out the weight bit from there
- well being "fit" depends on your body build for you probably i'm going to say that 160-170 lbs is your ideal weight

- Unless you are more or less muscular than the average man your age, 170 is about your ideal weight. For your height and at 170 lbs your BMI would be 23.7, which is about perfect. However, I am a lover and a hater of BMI. It is a rough guideline because, like I mentioned, an individual's muscle mass makes a big difference. As far as your age being involved in how much you should weigh, there are no physical health reasons (that you mentioned) why you cannot be somewhere in that range because you're near your prime. So if you shoot for 170, you can't go too wrong.
