Hi all! What do you think the ideal weight of this person would be? This is a friend of mine and is currently working out and dieting to lose excess fat weight. He's a white male, 5'11", and 29 years old. Ideally speaking, he says 190lbs. - 199lbs. with a 36" waist. I say 180lbs. - 189lbs. with a 34" waist. He and I both agreed a healthy body fat percentage for him is under 20%. I know what BMI (Body Mass Index) is but I think fat percentage is much more important. BMI is essentially worthless in my opinion. What do you think about all of this? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!
