body fat scale reviews

Does anybody know how to fugure out personal daily protein requirements?

I want to create a web page about daily protein requirements. What I am looking for is the math (or an explanation) on how to calculate daily protein requirements, lean body mass (aka total body fat) and BMI (body mass index). Any help would be appreciated. 1. It depends on your goals, really. If you can provide more detail, you will get more specific answers. For building or maintaining lean mass, it is generally recommended to have 1-2g of protein per pound of body weight. Lean Body Mass must be calculated by tests like calipers or electronic devices like electro-resistance. You can't just calculate it based on height/weight, etc. BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in pounds by your height in inches. BMI is not very accurate, though, as it does not account for frame size or musculature.
  2. What you'll hear is .5 to 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. This is wrong. It's .5 to 1 gram of protein per pound of LEAN MUSCLE MASS. Your body is 76% water. You don't need protein to maintain fluid or skeleton.
