what is the average body fat in a person?

Im 15. i think im about average fit. My p.e. teacher checked are body fat today, i got 16% of my body being body fat. is that close to average?

3. Are you male or female? If you are male, that is pretty good and about average, but if you are female, that is pretty low. HTH : )
