I just checked my BMI, and Im 0.9 points from being overweight. How is that possible?
I just had my body fat checked and Im 4.7%, my doctor said I need to gain more weight. Im a runner, so I burn alot of calories each week.

- The BMI isn't always accurate, ESPECIALLY if you're muscular. The muscle weighs more than fat. Trust what your doctor says.
- muscle weighs more than fat.
- Because BMI doesn't take into account muscle mass. Clearly you are a very muscular guy, which is why you weigh more yet have a very low body fat.
- BMI is only a ratio of weight to height. it does not take into account people who are very muscular.
