body fat scale reviews

i have a question about body fat?

i bought a scale that calculates body fat % and im not sure how much else i can loose, it usually reads around 6% and for me thats about 8 or 9 lbs, how many pounds of fat are permenent like brain matter, spinal cord, ect...?

  1. 6% is REALLY good the lowest an adult male can acheive healthfully is about 2.5%
  2. 6% is really low and close to what you need for just "essential body fat" to stay healthy. See the below link to measure your body fat % manually to make sure that your scale is not off. Good luck. - Mike
  3. That's very low. You definitely shouldn't go any lower. 2%-4% is essential body fat and even competitive body builders don't go that low unless it is just for competitions. They usually stick around 6%-8% for the rest of the time. HTH : )
