Question about body fat. Women only please!?
I'm approximately 5'2'', 17 years old and recently got my body fat calculated. It was about 28%. I stay active, and try my hardest to eat healthy. I weigh about 130 pounds. I do wear a size 36C and sometimes a D depending on how the bra is made. Would you think because I do have a larger chest area that it increases my body fat? Is this healthy? No matter how much cardio I do, I seem to lose weight from my stomach and hips.. but never the chest area. I'm stumped! I'm okay with how my body looks but I want to make sure I'm healthy.

- i think ur okay
- i duno why u dont want guys to answer this unless they are going to b immature. anyway, look up bodytypes and find out wich one you are through the charecteristics the different body types have. your bodytype might make you have more fat due to lowered matabolism.
- Ok. Normal size.
- Your breast size can definitely have an effect on your BMI, considering it's fatty tissue. If your really 5'2 and 130 pounds though, then your BMI is actually 23% which is in the "normal" range, therefore you are perfectly healthy. You would have to weigh about 155 to have 28%. So maybe you were measured wrong. If you were 28% however, I would recommend more exercise and healthier eating habits because you should eventually loose the needed weight, even though 28% isn't TOO terrible, it is still a step above the normal range and considered overweight.
