Is there somewhrer you can calculate you're cats body fat percentage?

2. I don't believe so. I got a book from the library just the other day, called My Fat Cat. In there they discussed the fact that there's nowhere to find a BFI for cats. Or was it BMI? In any case, I think that's what you're talking about. In which case it doesn't sound as if there is. All you can do is the "fat tests" for your cat to determine if it's overweight - in those cases where it isn't obvious. Setting a target weight for a cat who needs to lose is just an educated guess. How to tell if your cat is fat - when you're both standing look down on him. There should be a discernable waistline. If you then grab him around the rib cage, you should be able to easily feel each rib.
