  1. you can go to the doctor and have her measure your overall fat then calculate the percentage. you can also calculate your bmi at ediets.com. this doesn't take muscle mass into account but gives a good idea about a healthy weight index. You should talk to your doctor just to make sure that you are healthy. then if you are happy with your body, don't worry about it.
  2. According to Nancy Clark's Sports Nutrition Handbook, here are the men's fat level info. Essential fat-3-5(to live) Very low fat-7-10%(skinny appearance) Low fat-10-13%(trim looking) Average fat-13-17%(normal appearance) Above Normal fat-17-25%(plump) Very high fat Anything over 25% The most accurate testing methods are the underwater testing or the "bod pod." These are also the most expensive. The most common testing method is the caliper or fat scale body impedance, which will get you a ball park idea, error rate of between 5-10%. I used to be heavy too and sometimes you have to be careful, though. I KNOW I am thinner than I perceive myself to be because I was heavy for so long. Ask someone who really doesn't care, but who is knowledgeable. Like a trainer at the gym, maybe. Say something like, I used to be fat, so I am not sure if my body image is off, what do you think? Because you CAN be too skinny and it can be dangerous to your health.
  3. You changed life style and lost weight in a bad manner. Height in inches = Weight in kgs, is the formula. If you lost weight with overexercise then don't worry, you will get it back. First improve your hunger by full or partial fasts and then eat protinous food with little fats. Being too tiny is dangerous. It may result in painful disorders. Avoid it.
  4. well do your viens show when you work out ? that is normal, however you should either talk to a fitness professonal or a doctor. they would know best.
