How do I lose body fat?

I'm 14, 5 feet tall, and 130 lbs. I have no idea what my fat percentage is. Last year, I was 120, in top shape, and I could run a 6 minute mile. I was freakishly strong, and I had very lean muscles. That was when I had to watch what I ate and had to work out and run everyday for sports. After tennis season ended, I let myself go because it killed me sleeping at 11 and waking up at 4:30 to go for a jog, go to school, practice, homework, more jogging and working out, then going to bed. I also happen to really love food. I am willing to do all of that again, but I'm afraid that it might shock my body if I get back up and do that routine. I want an easier way to lose weight without losing water weight and muscles. What can I do? And any healthy, logical, and possible way????

  1. Wow...is your name rocky??? waking up at 4:30 at the age of 13...you must have been one of the greatest athletic prospects of our time eh? Well, whats worked for me is just a normal routine, maybe a good 1-2 hour workout and a normal sports practice, 3 hours. Get your sleep...i'm sure theres something wrong with adolescant not getting enough sleep. Besides, theres more to fun than sports. And no, you won't shock your body, but try working into the routine, not just starting. Tip, work your way up to the 8 galsses of water a day, it really helps
  2. Be sure to exercise (whatever type you like to do) and watch what and how much you eat. Don't over exercise and get plenty of rest, eat healthy, drink water and natural fruit juices. You can't take vitamins but don't mess with diet pills. * Much Luck*
  3. NO bread or sweets. eat fish, veggies/salad, and lean meat, in my experience, tuna's best lol. drink 12 glasses of water a day to flush out the fat and toxins stuck in there. do cardio in the morning before breakfast for an 30 minutes to an hour EVERYDAY. weightlifting a few times a week to make sure your body doesnt think it's starving itself and tries to lose muscles. works everytime. =) the key is protein, cardio and SOME lifting to trick your body in losing fat that is no longer useful.

  5. you drink lemon water in morning.
  6. Hmm...perhaps I should start taking tennis lessons... anyway, just exercise for at least half an hour every day. Or, if you can't handle that, try every other day to give your body a day to rest.
