Anyone know a good, accurate body fat % calculator online?

I got a health assessment soon but I'm just really keen to know my body fat percentage at the moment. Got a accurate online body fat percentage calculator? Thanks in advance. :)

  1. Try this one http://www.am-i-fat.com/body_fat_percentage.html However, they're not really accurate.. My P.E teacher said you have to go underwater in some special procedure to get the most accurate result.. This one'll give you an idea of what the figure means. http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html
  2. try out ure test here http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html if liek it rate it the best ans !! njoy
  3. no, to accurately measure your body fat % you need to send a small current through your body. you cant feel it, but some weighing scales have metal handles to hold. then they can tell you your body fat %. an internet calculator one will give you an estimate for other people of the same age, height, gender, weight etc.
  4. This is the BEST one, by the navy http://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy&Group=Fitness-Calculators Good Luck!
  5. You can try these websites, but they are estimations. Although they may still work, there are some scales, with metal bars to hold, you can try out that tell you your actually body fat percentage=] here are the sites: theres this one: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/ and theres this one: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ The first one is a US NAVY technique. You have to give your wieght, the measurements of the wrist, waist, hips, and forearms to show the outcome. I haven't tried it yet but im sure it will be pretty accurate. The second one just needs the weight and height to show the outcome. It applies to both men and women. When open the page, there is a scale on the left showing you the info, so its simple and easy to follow=]
  6. No online body fat caluculator can give you an accurate reading. I'm female, 24% body fat (tested with callipers and hydrostatic weighing) and body fat calculators have said everything from 16%-34%! You can purchase body fat callipers (Accu-Measure) which will give you a better idea of your body fat percentage.
