- in weight. as in punds. it cant measure your Fat
- BMI is measured on a sort of "points" system. Underweight = <18.5 Normal weight = 18.5-24.9 Overweight = 25-29.9 Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater Check the link at the bottom to calculate yours, and find some more info.
- Well, it takes in your height, age, gender, and weight combined together to base whether or not you are at a healthy weight range for all 4. Once your range is determined, you are placed on a percentile chart which shows where you are within the different weight ranges of society the different BMI ranges are: Underweight - <18.5 Normal weight - 18.5-24.9 Overweight - 25-29.9 Obesity - BMI of 30 or greater And they are put into a chart with percentiles: Underweight- Less than the 5th percentile Healthy weight- 5th percentile to less than the 85th percentile At risk of overweight- 85th to less than the 95th percentile Overweight-Equal to or greater than the 95th percentile hope that helps ^^
- The units are kilograms per meter squared (kg/m/m or kg/m^2) To compute take weight in kg and divide it by height in meters. Then divide that number by height in meters again. Weight in kg = lbs/2.2 Height in m = inches * 0.0254
- It is not a measure of body fat, it just a comparison of height and weight. BMI is measured in kg/m2.
