Question about body fat percentage and fat thickness?
If two people both had the same body fat percentage but are different weights, won't the heaiver person be able to pinch a thicker layer of fat than the lighter person even though they have the same body fat percentage? I guess to clarify yes the people are the same height, different builds but the same percentage of body fat. It just seems that the bigger build person would be able to pinch a thicker layer of fat. But then if it was height we'd be assuming the taller person had a bigger build and again it would seem like the taller person would be able to pinch more fat at the same percentage as the smaller build shorter person.

- I don't think so because your pinching the fat not muscle so it shouldn't matter. Not entirely shure though, i have never run into that situation.
- For that to be the case (ie muscle to fat ratio the same) they would have to be different heights/ and or build for their weight to be different. So it would be the taller of the two who could pinch less fat, I guess. Edit - No sorry I'm going to retract my original answer. If their body fat percentage is the same then regardless of their weight difference they would be able to pinch the same (taking into account that they would be the same sex, and body type eg pear or apple, people store fat in different places etc)
- Not necessarily, I really depends on where the weight is? Everybody is different, the extra weight may be muscle, bones, of simply could be stored evenly over the body and the lighter individual may have all the excess weight in one area.
- I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at http://they-fit.info , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.
- The answer is NO. Body fat % needs to take into account your hight + weight meaning if you are taller have more muscle and a bigger bone density but the same body fat percentage you would have more fat, Remembering this is percentage. It does not decide where your body wants to store this fat SO THE [PINCH COULD BE BIGGER OR SMALLER . hope this helps
