  1. First of all, if you used one of those body fat calculators where you hold the metal part and it calculates, those are COMPLETELY INACCURATE. They measure body fat percentage by being able to sense the percentage of non-fat material in your body, largely water. If you are dehydrated for example, the number will be COMPLETEY off. They have been known to be off by as much as 20%...think about that. The only way to get an accurate reading of your body fat is to go to your local gym or hospital and have your body mass done with a "Bod Pod" or do the test where they put you under water to measure your mass. It would even be much more accurate to have your body fat measured by a fitness professional with skin calipers. DONT freak out, its probably wrong.
  2. Women have more body fat than men, so depending on your age and level of maturity, you might be fine. 10 of that 32% might be breast tissue, for all we know. Are you happy? Do you feel healthy? Do you feel like you could be healthier? Could you be happier? Could you be less winded after chasing your dog up a flight of stairs? Can you catch and hail and cab two blocks away without breaking a sweat? In heels? All questions to consider. . .
  3. I'm assuming you're a woman - correct me if I'm wrong. If you're a young woman, measure your abdomen one inch above your belly button, your right thigh just below the buttocks, and your right forearm at its widest point with the arm extended in front of you. If you'll send me those measurements, I'll calculate your percent body fat. Measurement error for this method is + or - 2.5 to 4%.
