- Your body weight fluctuates. It could be any number of problems, having to do with the actual scale, or with how you're using it. It could be that you're not doing it at a consistent time every day, or that your body fat actually does fluctuate :P. I know if you drink a lot of water, it tends to skew your readings. There are other no-no's too, or just things to watch out for. You should find an online help website for your scale, or look your scale up online to see if other people have had this problem. I myself love my body fat scale. I have a weight watchers one that I got from Wal-Mart.
- There's no best device, so to speak, that is most accurate for measuring body fat percentage. The device and method you use should suit your convenience, user-friendliness and feel of comfort. The accuracy also varies from one method/device to another. It's not advisable to get your body fat percentage measured and tested every now and then because small changes over short period of time won't get captured. The best is to test and measure it only every 2 months or so.
