25 Points To The Best Answer.?

I'm 11 years of age. Yes, I am aware that I am against the 'Terms of Service'. Report me, & I'll get banned. I can just as easily make a new account. Now to the point. I have used BMI Calculators but they all seem to have me in a different category. If you could find me a accurate BMI Calculator (more likely have best answer if you calculate on there for me). Next, I was wondering if there was a possible way for me to find my body fat percentage without much work, online preferably. Last, my information. Born June 14, 1996. 4' 11" and 78 Ibs.

  1. u r under weight ur BMI is 15.8 Normal weight = 18.5-24.9 Overweight = 25-29.9 Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
  2. Sarah, you can't give someone 25 points. Also, there is no way to get your body fat percentage without getting on a scale that calculates that for you. It actually needs YOUR BODY on the scale -- can't do it from a remote location!
  3. Body fat percentage can NOT be figured on line. This is done physically by 3 methods: water tank most reliable and most costly, body fat scale that uses an electric current second best and modest expense, or calipers most unreliable and cheapest. BMI's are not going to be accurate b/c they were designed to help sale insurance and are not an accurate account of body composition hence the reason people such as The Rock and Vin Diesel are listed as morbidly obese on BMI'S. Height is part of the problem with getting an accurate read b/c the majority of charts start at 5' .
  4. Will try www.webmd.com or www.ivillage.com but the problem is most sites will have different results because they don't always use the best scale method, it is best to go see a dietitian or your regular care physician to determine what your bmi should be for your height and weight and age factor. those sites are just a estimate and not to be used for medical advice but as a guide line and should consult with your doctor.
  5. http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/dieting/weight_height.html This gives percentile as well as the BMI. Your BMI is pretty low, but according to this you're at the 16th percentile with a BMI of 15.8. Your healthy weight range is 73-107. It says you're fine. If you're really concerned you should probably talk to your doctor. The BMI calculators all use the same formula, so I don't know how you keep getting different answers. They may just give different categories different names on different websites. If you want to calculate it yourself, convert your weight to kilograms, then find your height in meters and square it. Divide your weight by your squared height. http://www.nutricoach.net/calculators.html That website has a bunch of health calculators that you can use, including two methods for finding body fat percentage.
