  1. That is extremely low!!! You're actually unhealthy with that low of a body fat %
  2. thats low, women are usually more than men and from memory men are usually in the mid teens ie 10-20 %
  3. OK? Perhaps, but not good. If you are under 13 years of age, you'd grow up soon enough. If you are a guy, you have a swimmer's body. If you are a girl, you might be skipping your period because you are not at a healthy weight. Either way, you can afford to add 20 pounds.
  4. Are you a young teen? If so, then its normal to be that thin. Are your family members, doctor concerned? If so, then I'd be too, but chances are, you've always been thin, so just enjoy it.
  5. No, you are severley underweight. Your healthy body fat percentage is listed below. Your body Mass Index ( BMI) is 15.5. Anything less than 18.5 is conseidered underweight. Recommended Body Fat Levels for women: Females age range Too Little Healthy range Overweight Obese 20-30yrs Below 21% 21 - 33% 33 - 39% over 39% 31-40yrs Below 21% 21 - 33% 33 - 39% over 39% 41-50yrs Below 23% 23 - 35% 35 - 40% over 40% 51-60yrs Below 23% 23 - 35% 35 - 40% over 40% 61-70yrs Below 24% 24 - 36% 36 - 42% over 42% 71-80yrs Below 24% 24 - 36% 36 - 42% over 42%
  6. You need a minimum of 4% body fat, otherwise you will freeze to death in the middle of summer. What I mean by that is, your body will work overtime to retain heat because you don't have enough insulation from body fat, regardless of the outside temperature. 6.91% is quite low for normal, but it depends on your physique. I'm at 20% and I'm slightly overweight LOL. And I only have one more inch on you, but I have 75lb more than you
  7. What method of measurement did you use? It is almost impossible for anyone to reach this level without extremely strict nutritional discipline. Have your percentage re-taken by a professional trainer or physician. If on the other hand you are legitimately 6.9% body fat, than you may be too low for a woman and may experience amenorrhea (lack of menstruation) and delayed puberty. Either way see a doctor to be sure.
