Why would my body fat percentage drop so fast?
I haven't run in years but I just started again yesterday. I'm 5'6.5" and weigh 123. Yesterday my body fat % was 25%, I ran/walked today for about 30 minutes and when I got home checked my body fat % and it was 20%. I checked it over and over. Why would this be? It hasn't been lower than 25% for the past several years and all the sudden I run for two days and it's down 5%.

- glycogen depletion makes your muscles and other flesh shrink a little temporarily If your measuring body fat with calipers or electornically this will give it a false reading temporarily. You need to check your BF% over the course of a week or so and average it.
- It could be you were eating a lot or too little and as soon as you did physical activities your body just released all its fat or it could be something that you ate or if you just ate then did exercise you usually drop pounds easiler.
- sweating out your water weight
