Body fat percentage?

I'm 16 years old, female, 5'2 and was 93 lbs last time I checked (a while ago, but i don't think I've gained any weight). My measurements are 30-25-32. I eat a lot, but I have a naturally tiny frame. I also do no exercise, so I am not in the least bit toned. I've taken my body fat percentage FIVE times, and each time it was 32%!! Everywhere I've looked online has told me that this is OBESE!! I mean I know I'm not fit or particularly healthy, but OBESE??!! i DO NOT have an eating disorder, and I know that I'm really skinny, so basically my question is: WTF is up with my body fat percentage?!!! From Wikipedia: http://i30.tinypic.com/o8whn6.jpg Please help! Thanks in advance! x P.S. Please don't b.itch about how skinny I am. I eat loads and never gain, meaning I am naturally this way. I am working on it and I try to eat as much as possible, but don't make rude comments because I've always been tiny. It runs in the family and I can't help it.

  1. are you getting body fat and BMI confused? you need special equip to measure fat
  2. Well because you don't excercise you don't have as much muscle which means more fat instead. It doesn't mean you're obese it just means you should try to burn off some fat with excercise. If you were measured height, weight you'd be classed as normal (don't know for sure) and an athlete, loads of muscles, would be classed as obese. Try excercising more and see if it changes. I didn't go on the website
  3. Where have you worked out your body fat %age? Your BMI based on your height and weight is 17.01 which means that you are underweight for your height. As for your physical size - some people are naturally slim, I can eat lots of food and not gain any weight myself. Count it as a blessing - your clothes will always fit you.
  4. I see exactly the problem.... Wiki has weight in kg listed on the bottom of the picture and lb listed on the top... you're actually rather underweight (with a BMI barely over 17, your BMI would be way to the left). I looked at it the same way you did the first time, but you're definitely underweight when you look at the numbers on the top and the right (the U.S. measurements). Congrats! I've got a high metabolism just like you do, so I can eat just about anything and not really gain any weight. I'm sure it's not going to last forever, but I'm happy about it for now.
