How accurate are the scales that measure your body fat and water?
Public Comments
- If you're talking about being weighed underwater to measure bodyfat, they're accurate within 1%
- Accurate enough to be useful in a fat burning plan. If you measure your self on the scale the same time each day, you can get a good idea on how much fat you are gaining or losing. The scale will probably not be all that accurate compared to using calipers or the water device they use at some facilities in telling you your exact fat percentage.
