How long will it take before my body fat percentage lowers with regular excersize/healthy eating?
I have an average body fat percentage right now, it's 28.7 or something. I go to the gym 5 times a week and do weights, and I jog/speedwalk there and back, about 3.5 miles or so both way together.

- 6 to 8 months minimum
- Depends on your body metabolism
- time is not fixed .it depends on a persons body . some people loose wweight very soon n for others it is difficult to lose weight with light exercises. but regular exercise with more of fibre food in diet n lots of water n juices--fresh--will have effect.
- You do not say what your age, weight, BMI or sex is. All of these things have an effect on the question you're asking. Also, be wary of measurements of body fat. Being dehydrated can lower your 'reading' as can having lots of water 'on board'. Take an average over the period of a month to get an idea of how it's progressing. Use a graph to help you recognise trends. If you are female, make sure that your body fat does not go below 20. Below this the female cycle is unable to continue normally. Hence anorexic girls stop menstruating.
- The ideal % for normal women is 15%-18% (unless you are a fitness competitor). You can safely reduce upto 1% a week (now this is hard). So to reach the goal of 15% you will need at least 13 weeks. I'd say 4-5 months would be ideal
